The American Red Cross is looking for more volunteers as the new year gets underway.
They are specifically looking for people who could help as transportation specialists to deliver blood, platelets and other products to hospitals and processing centers.
They’re also asking for volunteers with the disaster action team which helps with responding to home disasters like fires, floods, and storms.
More than 2,800 people currently volunteer in the Greater Pennsylvania Region. More info is available at redcross.org.
