VA Butler Healthcare will celebrate and honor veterans who have overcome mental health problems Tuesday.
The 6th Annual Recovery Recognition Day will recognize 24 local veterans who have overcome mental health problems, including PTSD, depression and substance abuse. Attendees will hear stories of hope and inspiration from local veterans and help VA Butler reduce the stigma of mental illness.
The ceremony will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Building 1 of VA Butler (sits on New Castle Road in Butler Township).
All are invited- veterans, family, friends, volunteers and the community.
