A recent graduate of Slippery Rock University has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.
Air Force Airman First Class Robert McKeag completed an eight week program that included military discipline as well as physical fitness and basic warfare skills.
Those who complete this training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
McKeag earned a bachelor’s degree from SRU in 2015. His grandfather lives in Lyndora while his parents reside in Allegheny County.
