Beginning Friday, all children up to 2-years-old will have to be secured in a rear-facing car seat in Pennsylvania.
The new state law directs police to issue warnings for the first year. After that, violators will get hit with a $125 fine.
Supporters of the new child seat rules say facing children toward the back of the car dramatically lowers their risk of death or serious injury during crashes.
