Butler County is raising the rates of some part-time employees in an effort to make sure they are fully staffed for the summer.
The county recently approved upping the wages of camp counselors and cashiers at the swimming pool.
Head counselors can make as much as $12.50 per hour and cashiers now are at $11.50 hourly.
The county says they are still looking for more applicants to be camp counselors, cashiers, and lifeguards this summer. Information on the application process can be found on their website.
