The Pittsburgh Penguins are back in action Sunday afternoon, as they will travel to Madison Square Garden to play the New York Rangers.
Sunday’s game comes after a 3-1 Pens win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night. During Friday’s game, the Penguins lost center Evgeni Malkin to an undisclosed upper body injury. He is expected to return to the lineup in 4 to 6 weeks.
The Penguins go into Sunday’s game with an overall record of 35-24-8, which is good enough for 4th best in the Metropolitan Division, and for one of the Eastern Conference’s Wild Card playoff spots.
Pregame for Sunday’s action will begin immediately after the CBS News on WISR 680AM and online at wisr680.com. Faceoff is set for 12:30pm.
