Rain continued steadily, and heavily, early Tuesday making the morning commute a ‘wet’ experience for many.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue- off and on- throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will rise into the low 70s both days.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a risk for strong to severe storms on Wednesday as a cold front crosses the region.
“Damaging winds will be the primary hazard with the strongest of storms,” according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the NWS.
By Thursday, conditions are expected to dry out and cool down- with temperatures primarily in the mid-60s.
