Although we’re expecting sunny and hot weather today, the much-needed rain that we had over the past couple of days brought us back to average totals.
The National Weather Service says that entering into last weekend, the Pittsburgh area was nearly an inch shy of the average amount of rain for the month.
However, the area received nearly 1.5 inches of rain during the last three day stretch bringing us back to an average total for July.
