The heavy rainfall is causing problems throughout Butler County.
The rain started falling Thursday evening and is continuing through Friday morning, at times heavy.
Emergency crews have responded to several calls for flooded roads and basements overnight.
According to PennDOT, several roads are affected by flooding. These roads are still closed as of 11 a.m. Friday:
Butler County
- Route 38 is closed between Route 68 in Summit Township and Mahood Road in Oakland Township
- Route 3006, Renfrew Road, is closed between Three Degree Road and Hicks Road in Penn Township
- Route 2002, Herman Road, is closed between Stutz Road and Simon Drive in Summit Township
- Route 3025, Yellow Creek Road, is closed between Little Creek Road and East Lancaster Road in Lancaster Township
A Flood Warning remains in effect in Butler County until 2:30 p.m. Friday. A Flood Watch continues through Friday evening.
