Many Butler residents woke up to a surprise this morning as an unexpected snow squall dropped about an inch across the county leading a few districts to call for a two hour delay.
Butler, South Butler, and Freeport school districts called for a two-hour delay just a little after 6 a.m. when a heavy band of snow quickly hit the area.
Despite the snow, no major accidents were reported during the morning commute.
