A new grant to a local healthcare center will expand free dental services.
The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center was awarded a $25,000 grant from the Highmark Foundation this week.
The center will be adding one Saturday of dental care each month. Currently, they only offer the services during weekdays.
This is for services like preventive and basic restorative care like cleanings, exams, x-rays, fillings and more.
