A local author, who has based some of his books in Butler County, will be at the Saxonburg Arts Festival this weekend.
C. William Davis III has had his Clive Aliston Mystery Series published; ‘The Forever Man’, ‘The Tale of Scorpion’, and ‘The Ticketmaster Return of the Forever Man’. The storyline follows a police detective and many of the locations you read about are actually spots in the Butler area.
Davis is now is working on a series of short stories. The first book is called ‘Whispers, Echoes, and Whisps of the Wind: A Gathering of Seven Tales’. The hope is that there will be two additional books in the series.
David will be discussing how he first learned How to write a book, his process when it comes to plot building, and how he decides small things like character names or locations. Come along if you want to find out more about him or you’re wanting to learn more about becoming an author.
Davis is from just over the Butler County line in Brackenridge, Allegheny County. He’ll have a booth both days at the Saxonburg Arts Festival, which is September Saturday and Sunday in Roebling Park in Saxonburg.
