A public forum will be held in Butler on Thursday to educate and combat the growing drug crisis.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School.
Leaders from law enforcement, county government, the courts and the medical community will be on-hand to share their experiences and knowledge.
In addition to speakers, there will be representatives from several faith-based and support organizations talking about their services.
Data shows one person dies every week in Butler County from an opioid-related overdose.
