What Butler city officials are calling a “state-of-the-art, low-maintenance parking garage” is now nearly complete.
Butler City Council received an update on the downtown Butler Centre City Garage from the project manager during a meeting Tuesday, who said the facility is 98 or 99 percent done.
Plumbing and electrical work is complete. Signs and cameras are in the process of being installed. Kiosks and pay stations are expected to be installed within the next ten days.
The garage is expected to open for people who purchase permits as soon as possible and likely before the kiosks and pay stations have been finished. Permits for the new garage are being sold for $60 per month.
