NFL teams are dealing with the worst two-day virus outbreak since the beginning of the pandemic. There were 37 positive tests among players Monday, with the Cleveland Browns among the hardest hit. The Browns are dealing with their second outbreak of the season, with receiver Jarvis Landry among eight Browns players added to their COVID/restricted list.
The Los Angeles Rams added nine players to that list, with former Browns receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., now of the Rams was also added to the restricted list.
The NFL is not alone, the NHL had to postpone games this week – including the Calgary Flames – who have had three games this week postponed. The Carolina – Minnesota game last night was also postponed.
In the NBA – the Chicago Bulls have had to postpone games, while other teams have postponed practices.
