A work from Shakespeare will once again be staged in a local park this weekend.
Shakespeare in the Park will present The Taming of the Shrew at Preston Park in Butler Township at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Additional performances will be given next weekend.
Those attending should bring a portable chair and wear comfortable walking shoes. The scenes are set in various locations, mostly along the road within the park. The show will last just over two hours.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at hobnobtheatre.com/tickets or at the entrance to the park an hour before each show.
