There is a way you can bring a little joy to cancer patients this holiday season by giving a stocking filled with goodies.
Organizers of this effort are looking for community members, individuals, offices and groups to pack stockings with items like puzzles, magazines, water bottles, dried fruit, stamps, movie passes, hand lotion and more. Drop the stockings off at the Butler Radio Network through December 9th and they will then be delivered to the Butler Cancer Center, VNA Hospice and the Crossroads Cancer Center for those who are going through radiation treatments.
Keep in mind that sugar is not recommended for cancer patients.
Butler Radio is at 252 Pillow Street in Butler.
