The ‘Presents For Patients’ Christmas program has been continuing to brighten the spirits of residents of both local nursing homes and those in several surrounding states for 33 years.
The program is sponsored by St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia.
In 2015, more than 11,000 gifts were delivered by volunteers to patients in senior care facilities located in southwestern Pennsylvania, Erie, as well as parts of West Virginia and Ohio.
