Area residents are invited to Jennings Environmental Center in Slippery Rock today for a unique prairie event.
Starting at 2pm, event goers will have the opportunity to learn more about the Jennings Environmental prairie, which is the only managed and protected prairie in Pennsylvania.
Other discussions will consist of the animals that live in prairies, and the elements that prairies consist of.
Today’s event, which will be held indoors, will last for approximately 90 minutes. No registration is required.
