There are still about 1,300 residents in Butler County who don’t have power.
This marks the 6th day of no power for some. Many residents lost service during the ice and snow storm last Thursday evening.
Significant progress was made on Monday, and overnight, restoring power service.
As of Tuesday afternoon, roughly 330 West Penn Power customers are still in the dark. The majority of those residents are in Center, Concord, Fairview, Donegal, and Penn townships.
About 950 Central Electric Cooperative customers in Butler County are still without power this afternoon. A majority of those residents are in Brady, Clinton, Slippery Rock and Middlesex townships.
As its peak, roughly 46,000 power customers in Butler County were without service following last week’s storm.
