Another street in the City of Butler is set to close for a couple of months in connection with the ongoing Sullivan Run project.
According to Mayor Bob Dandoy, a portion of West Penn Street will tentatively close Monday morning for a bridge replacement.
This will be in addition to a portion of West Brady Street currently shut down in between Mercer and Broad Streets to replace another bridge.
This next part of the Sullivan Run project is expected to take two to three months for a full replacement of the bridge.
City officials expect the roads will reopen in the spring. Drivers are directed around the affected areas using West New Castle Street.
