Route 38 in Concord Township is back open after downed wires closed a portion of it for about three hours early Monday.
Crews were sent to Rt. 38 (Oneida Valley Road) about 6:45 a.m. due to wires that were blocking both lanes of the roadway. Traffic was being detoured onto Rider Road.
It’s unclear what caused the wires, which included both power and cable wires, to come down. According to West Penn Power, power to 15 Concord Township residents was affected but has since been restored.
