A stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike is closed this morning following a fatal accident.
It happened around 3 a.m. near the Beaver Valley exit of the Turnpike in Beaver County.
Our news partners at WPXI report, that a pedestrian was killed in a three vehicle crash that involved a tractor trailer. That person was is believed to have died on impact.
The turnpike is closed westbound from Cranberry through the Beaver Valley exit.
Officials believe the closure will last until at least 8 a.m.
