A road just north of Butler County is expected to be closed for a project beginning Thursday.
A portion of Route 38 in Richland Township, Venango County- just north of Emlenton- will be shut down for a bridge replacement project. The bridge is located between the Rockland Rickleville Road intersection and the Myers Mills Road intersection.
Daylight closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a week, June 27 to July 3.
A long-term closure is then expected beginning next Monday, July 8, and continuing through Aug. 9. A detour will be posted using Route 322, Route 338- which runs from Venango into Clarion County- and Route 208 in Clarion County.
Work will be completed by PennDOT maintenance employees in Venango County.
