With a summer of fun for people in local pools wrapping up, it’s now time for the dogs to enjoy the water.
Cranberry Township’s canine-only Puppy Plunge will take place Saturday in two sessions from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the Waterpark in North Boundary Park. Owners must bring a current vet certificate to document rabies vaccination.
Then Sunday, the annual Alameda Waterpark puppy plunge is set for the Alameda pool from noon until 3 p.m. The cost is $10 per dog and participants must have a copy of the dog’s current vaccination record.
Registration for the Alameda event can be done online on the park’s website. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Butler County Humane Society.
