Authorities are investigating a recent case of unemployment fraud that impacted a local woman.
According to State Police, a 55-year East Brady woman reported on Thursday that an unknown person was attempting to use their identity to obtain unemployment benefits from the state of Pennsylvania.
It is unknown if authorities have any suspects, or how the suspect obtained the victim’s information.
Officials say that victims of similar incidents should report their case through the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation website.
