A bear has been spotted in the Meridian area.
Butler Township Police say the bear was spotted over the weekend near Winterwood Drive—which is a housing plan just off Meridian Road.
Police say residents should put away bird feeders, food, and make sure garbage is put away.
They are also asking to keep pets in a safe place.
