A Slippery Rock mother is facing charges after a 3-year-old walked away from home Thursday.
State Police say troopers found the young boy about a half a mile from home in a heavily wooded area off Route 8 near Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.
The child was missing for about an hour.
Police say the 33-year-old mom will face charges.
