A local man is in jail after he resisted arrest earlier this week.
Butler Township Police responded to a disturbance about 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at a house on Homewood Drive.
Police found 24-year-old Aaron Thompson of Butler and New Jersey. Thompson was angry and refused to comply with instructions given by officers. Police then Tasered Thompson in order to get him under control.
Thompson is in the Butler County Prison facing several charges.
