State police took a New Castle man wanted for homicide into custody this morning.
Our news partners at WPXI report that Shane McDevitt was arrested early this morning following a police chase on Route 28 near the Pittsburgh Mills in Allegheny County.
McDevitt is a suspect in the death of 65-year-old Cecelia Liposky—who was found dead at a home on Mercer Road in New Castle.
McDevitt was allegedly driving the car that was owned by Liposky when he got involved in an early morning crash.
He’s expected to move to the state police barracks in New Castle later today after a medical evaluation.
