A man has been charged for allegedly pocketing some of the money made at a Muddy Creek Township convenience store.
Donald Swearingen, 46, was charged Friday by State Police. Authorities say he worked at the Subway located inside the Portersville Last Minit Mart on Route 19 when he’s accused of under-ringing customer orders and then keeping the difference.
Police believe Swearingen’s scheme had been going on for months. He’s accused of pocketing nearly $1,000 but an investigation is still ongoing.
