A man is facing charges for allegedly stabbing his mother to death inside her Lawrence County home.
It allegedly happened before noon Sunday on Lanewood Drive in Neshannock Township.
According to State Police, 57-year-old Lauri Craven was stabbed multiple times by her 27-year-old son Dean Craven. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Dean stayed at the scene until police arrived. He is being held in the Lawrence County Jail without bond, charged with homicide and aggravated assault.
