Butler City Police are searching for two men who are suspects in a home invasion.
It happened Saturday evening about 6 p.m. at an apartment in the 100 block of West New Castle Street.
Police say the men were masked when they broke in. A woman and toddler lived there. One of the suspects allegedly threatened to hit the child with a baseball bat if the woman did not stop struggling.
A neighbor came to the woman’s assistance and both suspects fled, but not before one of them took off their mask. Surveillance cameras caught images of a 6-foot tall white male with reddish brown hair and beard.
The other suspect is described by police as a 6-foot, 3-inch light-skinned black male with light brown eyes.
