Individuals and businesses in the City of Butler with surveillance cameras are asked to contact the Butler City Police Department.
Butler Police are updating their list of cameras around the city in case a crime occurs in an area with no witnesses or officers are given conflicting statements.
Anyone interested in being on this list is asked to send the Butler City Police Department a private Facebook message with their name, phone number, address and area that their camera covers.
Those who wish to participate in this initiative are asked to respond by March 1.
