Police continue to look for a man they believe has written several bad checks to local businesses.
The most recent theft by Jamal Williams, 39, happened on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Parker’s Appliance in Chicora.
Authorities say Williams purchased a $1,200 television using a business check from “Strike First Paint Ball Extreme.” That check was later found to be from a closed account.
Police believe Williams has pulled this same stunt at several other locations in Butler County and the surrounding area.
If you have any information on Williams or any related cases, please call State Police in Butler (724-284-8100).
