Police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent one woman to the hospital.
The crash happened at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Duffy and New Castle roads in Butler Township.
Jack Nulph, 60, of Chicora told Butler Township Police he was stopped for a red light when his vehicle was rear-ended. The driver of a white van fled the scene. Nulph described that driver as a man in his 50s.
A passenger in Nulph’s vehicle was injured. The 57-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with an unknown injury.
