Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Wexford Thursday morning.
The suspect walked into the First National Bank branch on Devine Drive in Marshall Township, Allegheny County shortly after 9 a.m. Police say he approached a teller and gave a note demanding money, but did not show any weapon. He fled the scene on foot but then likely got into a getaway car.
The suspect, who was caught in surveillance video, is described as a white man with a large build, clean shaven, and in his late 30s to early 40s. He is about 6 feet tall weighing 250 pounds.
Since the bank sits just south of the Butler County line, local police were put on alert yesterday following the robbery.
