Police had to rescue a woman from her roof Wednesday night after she was threatened by a man holding a rifle.
According to a criminal complaint filed by State Police, the incident happened just before 11 p.m. on Hidden Hill Road in Clinton Township.
65-year-old Robert Wargo allegedly threatened a 53-year-old woman identified as his girlfriend while he was holding a rifle. Police said the rifle was not pointed directly at the woman or her juvenile granddaughter who was also on the roof and who called police.
Wargo was arrested without incident and will face charges including Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
