A Concord Township man is accused of deliberately setting a house fire following an argument with his wife.
Ian Manuel, 24, allegedly confessed to using a cigarette lighter to start a fire last week inside his double-wide, manufactured home on Route 38 in Concord, according to state police.
No one was hurt in the fire- which happened just after midnight on Sunday, July 14. Damage was estimated at roughly $40,000.
During an interview, police allege Manuel confessed to setting the fire to “get his wife back” after she left the home with their infant son.
Manuel turned himself in on Wednesday. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court in late August.
