A Butler man has been charged with burglary after police say he borrowed a friend’s car and used a key he found inside to get into her apartment.
Butler Township Police have issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Witt Yost Jr.
Authorities allege earlier this month, Yost used an apartment key found inside the car he was borrowing to gain access to a Whitestown Village Apartment. Once inside, he stole two televisions and jewelry. Some of the jewelry was then pawned.
The vehicle and other pieces of jewelry were eventually returned to the victim.
