Two people have been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion that happened in northern Butler County last month.
Janet Greiner, 29, of Petrolia and Brandon Wissinger, 28, of Sarver were charged Monday by State Police. They allegedly acted as a getaway driver and lookout while two others forced their way into an elderly man’s Clay Township home in December, held him at knifepoint and gunpoint, and then beat him up, before stealing from him.
The 74-year-old victim was so badly injured he was unable to call for help and was found 12 hours later by family members. His current condition is unclear.
Police say additional arrests are coming. It’s unclear if the suspects knew the victim or if the invasion was random.
