Police are investigating an apparent armed robbery and assault that happened Tuesday in the City of Butler.
A man reportedly called 911 about 2:30 p.m. and said three white males wearing ski masks robbed him in an alley near the Cigarette Shop on Cunningham Street.
The man reportedly told police the suspects stole a weapon from him and then hit him on the head before leaving the scene. The victim was not seriously injured.
Butler City Police said they were investigating the incident but didn’t comment further.
