An underage drunk driver stole a car and led police on a chase through nearby Indiana County early Saturday morning.
According to our news partners at WPXI, 20-year-old Dheavon Baum of Apollo faces driving theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing police, and driving under the influence among other charges.
Authorities say that just after 3am Saturday, they spotted the stolen Ford Fusion driven by Baum on Philadelphia Street in Indiana. Officers said that during the chase, Baum turned off his headlights and drove on the wrong side of the road to evade police.
After police initially lost the suspect, authorities found him standing outside of his car shortly after the incident on the corner of South 14th and School Street. No injuries were reported.
