The State Police in Mercer are investigating a theft situation.
This incident took place early Friday morning in Coolspring Twp., Mercer County when police were called to 67 Holmes Rd. The victim, 37-year-old Marcus McElwain, told police that approximately $800 in loose change was stolen from inside his residence. While investigating, police say a person of interest was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia. The name of the 31-year old female suspect has not been released at this time and her charges are pending.
The theft is still under investigation.
