Authorities are investigating a case of identity theft that occurred last week in Donegal Township.
According to State Police, a 19-year-old woman reported that she discovered that her Social Security Number had been used by at least one unauthorized person in an alleged attempt to steal her tax return.
Officials did not identify any potential suspects or if any other local residents had fallen victim to a similar case.
