State police say a man killed his wife and then took his own life in an apparent murder-suicide in Armstrong County.
The incident happened Tuesday night at a home on Elkin Road in Boggs Township.
State police say Trenton Johns of Kittanning got into “a domestic altercation” with his wife that night. As she was leaving, Johns allegedly pulled a gun out of his pants and shot her from behind.
He then turned the gun on himself, killing both he and his wife.
Police did not reveal any other details.
