State Police in Butler are investigating an incident that happened over the weekend when a man was apparently shot in the chest.
Police were called to a house in Jefferson Township yesterday, where they found that 47-year-old Robert Mayer had a gunshot wound in his chest.
The severity of the injury was not known, nor did police release details of how Mayer got shot.
