A local woman is facing charges following an incident that occurred at an Armstrong County residence late last week.
According to State Police, a 54-year-old Indiana County woman is accused of attempting to break into a Plumcreek Township residence just before 1am on Friday (March 4th).
Authorities say that the woman then used a gun and discharged numerous rounds into the residence. A 30-year-old man who lived in the home was not injured.
It was not immediately known why the suspect attempted to break into the house, or why they used a gun. Police are currently classifying the case as an attempted homicide, and have filed undisclosed charges against the suspect.
