Butler Township Police are investigating an alleged attempted robbery late Monday in Walmart’s parking lot.
The incident happened just before midnight in Butler Commons.
Police say 30-year-old Keel Edward Welch II of Butler approached a man as he was loading groceries into his vehicle, brandished a black handgun and demanded money.
Officers later found Welch inside a vehicle. He was arrested and booked into the Butler County Prison. Police say he was in possession of four black BB guns.
No one was hurt.
