A 21-year-old Slippery Rock man is dead following a vehicle crash and police are now trying to figure out exactly what happened.
According to State Police in Butler, Austin Walters was traveling south in an SUV on Crestview Road (near Taggert Road) in Slippery Rock Township when he left the road and struck a tree.
The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
State Police say they are continuing to investigate what caused Walters to leave the roadway. The cause of death also remains under investigation.
